A classic modernist silver pendant or charm representing the Zodiac sign Sagittarius (“le Sagittaire”). A long-haired maiden holds a bow and arrow. The design is worked with a semi-matte finish and is enclosed in a highly-polished frame. The pendant retains its original jump ring. The pendant is stamped with French second-standard (800/1000 pure) silver hallmarks in use before 1962 and an unidentified maker’s mark (A cross P).
