A heavy pair of Art Deco cufflinks in 14K yellow gold, distinguished by an unusual double swivel mechanism.
The faces are oval and slightly convex, engraved with parallel lines that run cleanly across the surface. The engraving is simple and direct, relying on repetition and spacing rather than pattern or ornament.
The construction is what sets the pair apart. Instead of a fixed post or chain, the cufflinks are joined by a rotating swivel element that allows each side to pivot independently. This type of mechanism is rarely encountered and gives the cufflinks a different feel in use compared to more typical constructions.
The weight and curvature of the faces add to that effect, giving the cufflinks a solid, rounded presence.
