A distintive pair of vintage cufflinks in 18K gold set with rectangular citrines and engraved with a radiating sunburst design.
Each face is centered on a richly colored citrine, displaying a deep amber-orange tone with strong saturation and clarity. The engraved pattern extends outward from the stones, reinforcing the effect of light emanating from the center and giving the cufflinks a sense of movement and intensity.
One corner of each face is subtly "dog-earned," revealing a plain gold surface and introducgring an unexpected asymmetry within an otherwise structured design. This small detail adds visitual interest without disrupting the overall balance.
The faces are connected by chain links to plain baton backs, a construction that allows for each of wear whille maintaining flexibility.
A well-executed and characterful pair, combining bold color, engraved detail, and throughtful design.
